I took off the tb,when I put it back on the truck sayed REDUCED ENGINE POWER, and the throttle does nothing. I unhooked the battery and still nothing. what else could it be?

yeah so was mine when my 5.3 blew up!I have the electric tb and the box on the side lost its ground. I got it fixed though. something as stupid as that took me all day to find. :duh:

wow i wonder if thats why i sent back 2 bbk tb s both times i went through all the trouble too switch the electrics over and 2 times it did that ,i sent them back and said they were junk .even got the reduced engine power .what groundon the side ?were? just in case i do it again.
on the side of the tb the black box is held on by rivets. I cut them off and pulled it apart. theres 2 prongs and 1 was not conected all the way.but i keep getting the reduced engine power after that.
i think i ended up leaving my battery cable off for the night or something .i couldnt believe just pulling the tb off would do this .hope its all set.
