Should I put a stall in the 86 now? The motor and tranny is in but not finished. If I need a stall now is the time. I plan on driving it like it is for a while then adding a magnacharger. Will a stall make a big difference? If so, which one?

if you plan on going with a Maggie. i would get a TB stall or a 26-2800
Stall is good.. I know some people have run fast with Stock stalls... but thats not many !... We have trucks and need all the help we can get !... Plus it makes it alot more fun to drive I have a 3200 in mine starts to pull 2800... but if i pour on the power it will flash as high as 3600..

Is mileage increased with a higher stall converter? If so, by how much with an LS1? Thanks:cool:
I plan on adding a magnacharger after I get it going but it will stay stock for a little while. (until I get over the cost of the restoration,...oouch.) Is there a stall that will work good with both setups? Or am I asking too much from one stall? Thanks
