Help! installing flt trans and PI converter

I am currently in the middle of installing my FLT trans and converter. The converter is a PI vig 2600 stall. I bought it used from a member off of here. My question is on the torque converter, I am trying to put the bolts back in the torque converter but the stock bolts seem to be too long. Do these converters come with different bolts? I found a bag in the box but its empty. If they do require different bolts is there anywhere I can get some fast? Kinda stuck here and need some answers fast. Thanks,

Yep, the bolts are a lot shorter for the PI convertor. Their website tells what length the bolts are supposed to be, it's like 15mm or so. You can grind some off the ends of the stock bolts or PI will send you the right bolts.

Its all good, Ground off about a 1/4 inch off the bolts and threw some locktight on them and put them back in the beast. Then when I was putting on the mount for the support on the crossmember for the trans I overtightned one of the bolts and it broke off in the hole :whack::whack:So had to take care of that problem. Didnt have any ez outs so I drilled it out with and put a bolt with a nut on it. I will re-thread it somewhere down the line. Got the trans and verter in and it runs like a champ. I need an tune now!

Yeah man, gonna call allen tomarrow and see if he can get a tune in sometime this week.

Are you gunna ditch the Westers? Did you like the tune? Doesn't Wester's give free updates as well? I know there is a Wester's dealer in SA--and so is Allen...

Yeah, I ditched the westers already. The westers was great, but I just dont want a mail order tune for a blower. I just loaded the supercraps tune that came with the kit until I get a dyno tune. Getting a dyno tune from allen thursday.

Check up on my Black truck when you get there. It should be all torn down by then. The Black Widow. I'll be there friday to see the carnage during surgery.

Taking the STS off for the New Trick Turbo. New exhaust, e fans a little head clean up, etc... You can't miss it, all torn down.
