does anyont have some comp 1.7 roller rockers that fit under the stock valve covers cause i mocked them up and they don't seem to fit...do you need cover spacers or will they fit?

Yes, they will fit if they are 1.7's. Even 1.8's will fit...
yeah but they didn't fit under my valve covers do i need to take that aluminum plate thing out or something? The bolts seemed to hit the top of the valve cover.Quote:

Hello, I got a used set on the floor [Comp Cam 1.75] and the destructions don't say what to throw out. I haven't taken my valve covers off yet [real soon though] but it looks like you remove the aluminum plate.:duh: The stock rockers tighten down on them. The CC roller rockers don't use them, they are held down by the top adjustment nut and held inline by the push rod plates.Quote:

My Harland Sharps fit under stock covers.
actually they didn't fit because the third one in (the mounting stud) hit the dip in the cover that houses the threads and bolt for mounting the coil packs :thumbdown: so idk...i think im just going to sell them, i put the stock ones back on.
Or you could go get some tall valve covers...check out the for sale sections of the boards--you're bound to run into some...
