well my brother took my truck to install the Lt's and ORY... so the parents offered to lend me the Bimmer... Last time i raced my friends g35 i was in my truck and he spanked me pretty bad... We already agreed to race at our lunch time at 1pm today so when i get back at 2pm.. I'll post up on how it went!! Hopefully i get my revenge!! :D
Not to be a dick, but you didn't even know what kind of Bimmer your parents drive???? Like I said, no offense... If my parents had a 545, I would know for sure! There is a HUGE difference between a 525 and a 545....
yeah i'm not much into Bmw's except the M5 and M6 but no offense taken..
Ok, cool! I was just raggin ya for a sec! I test drove an M5 6-speed the other day... My friend is a Finance Manager at Park Place Mercedes and whenever he gets an M or AMG on trade, he always calls me to come "test drive" it before they take it back for make-ready...
well race has been held off till 4:00 he's not able to go to lunch the sametime as me...
Okay we did a total of 3 races I let him honk three times and we went
1st race was from 20 punch......
left him about half a car and kept leaving him I stopped about 75mph for him to catch up
2nd race we raced from 40 punch
this time he got a better jump off me..and i didnt shift to good using the manual shift and it was a close ended up catching him around 3rd gear and I stopped around 80mph
3rd race was the best we raced from a 40 punch
he got a good jump on me was about half a car ahead of me and was still ahead of me we were about dead even around 60mph then the top end started kicking in and the bimmer started to pass him finally started slowing down around 90mph after i had about a full car length on him
wish there would have been more open road but i wasnt going to try to do anything stupid..it was starting to sprinkle as well so we called it quits..
Bimmer took him ever time!! He's finally going to start looking at upgrading his G35 now..
See...told ya that 545 would beat it... Where's my $50?? LOL
