anyone ever used boss hog converters?

i see these on ebay all the time and realize there isnt much more annoying then a piece of junk converter.

anyone used these? are they worth the little amount of money they are going for?

also see a lot of the tsi converters...anyone had experience with either of these?

i am looking for a converter for my th350 is why i ask.

I haven't used one myself, but I've read that they were pretty good for the price. I have a B&M 3000 in my truck right now, but I plan on trying one of those Boss Hog converters soon. How's your swap going? Mine is going along slowly, but it's lookin good so far.

i just bought one through acc and their suppost to hold up pretty well from what ive heard. i ordered the boss hog 3200rpm stall. should go in very soon

thanks, i have a 2400 in it now, but i am thinking i will want something closer to 3200 very soon.

swap is a bit slower than i had hoped, but its coming. finally collected all the parts, just waiting for my buddy to plug everythying in. he already installed the engine, has just been waiting on accessories, which took 3 weeks to ship.

but, he should have everything ready for the dynotune by the end of this week.

My swap is a 6.0 into a 82 silverado.

would like 15x7 for the front with 255/60's and 15x10 for the rear. do you know if i could run the 325/50 in the rear? the truck is stock, but i am going to do a 2/2 drop soon.

I'm not sure, but I thought I read somewhere that 295 was all we could fit in the back. I'll look around and see if I can find out. Those wheels will look good on your truck. I'm not sure what wheels to put on mine.

thats what i thought too. would really like the 325 cuz its a 28" tall tire.

my brother is a chevy salesman and is tryin to talk me into puttin 20's on it. i can some 20's with tires for around $1200.

just dont know if i would like that look though.

I was considering swapping my bolt pattern to fit some [6 lug]18's I have here at the house. I think I'll just see when I get the truck running. If it's not fast, I'll just throw the 18's on and it'll just be a cruiser. But if it's fast, I'll run some 15's(AR Outlaw).
