Is there a certain way your suppose to tighten them, or can do you just pull the valve covers and tighten it down? My dad and my girlfriends dad both asked if I was suppose to turn the motor, then tighten, then turn, then tighten, and so forth..

Is there a certain way your suppose to tighten them, or can do you just pull the valve covers and tighten it down? My dad and my girlfriends dad both asked if I was suppose to turn the motor, then tighten, then turn, then tighten, and so forth..
tighten to 22ftlbs.
...then blip the motor another 180 degrees and torque to 22 -24 ftlbs again!
