mount and tranny spacer questions

i'm just about ready to drop a carbed 6.0 into a 83 2wd truck. which are motor mounts would be a good choice to go with? i see a set on ebay but worried about weather there good enough or not. i also hear of people switching the motor mount frame plates from one side to the other to make the tranny line up on the crossmember. whays the deal on that? and the last question is about the crank spacer. my 02 6.0 had a spacer on it from the factory. is that what is needed to mate it up to the th350 convertor? then i can either drill the flexplate holes to match the convertor or use a 98ls1 flexplate right?

i used my original crossmember for tran mount, but then had to lengthen my drive shaft, had plenty of room to move engine back, you should check how it sets in you frame, might be better to move the rear crossmember than lengthen drive shaft,,

i'm using the th350. not a 4l60. i shouldn't need to change the driveshaft. as long as i don't move the tranny
