I love these gauges but a grand??? Thats a bit much. Is there a better way or do I bite the bullet once again? Will this be easier than getting the factory gauges to work?

#1 - Nice repaint of the 86. When did that happen?
#2 - You could create your own cluster, and pay a "little" less.
I looked at DD & CC setups, and liked both, but wanted the hotrod look of needles swinging on demand. Hence the reason why I went with the cheaper route. I think purchasing the Autometer gauges seperately ran a total of ~$650 - $700. If you had the fancy looking (really nicely fabricated) bezel to mount the gauges, I think that alone was somewhere b/t $150 - $250 (I don't remember). Not much of a difference if you're looking for perfection. My decision was solely driven by the "Git-R-Dun" motivation. "Go" before "Show".
I'd show my gauges, but my company's proxy server is processing web requests VERY slowly during lunch hour.

#1- Thanks. It is happening now. The 86 is still in the paint shop. Been there a coupla months.
#2- I wonder if the "little" would be worth it? Its got to be easier to get the kit. Id like to see the CC setup in a square body. They have got to look great for a grand!

Oh, no doubt. The CC kit looks awesome, and I think it would look kick-azz! I went the cheap route cuz of financial obligations. It's better than stock (slightly), and perfectly functional. I just wish I had ~$10K to work with. I'd go a little less frugal with the moddin'. :p
