Well I was on my way to buy a new washer with the wife and was on the bypass when white mercury something, suddenly appeared right on my tail. It was the mercury that looks like the crown vic. well I slowed down to 70 then nailed it because at 70 it will still down shift and hold 3rd. At 75 it will stay in 4th. Well I proceeded to put 4-5 car lengths on him. But I didn’t know if he was trying. So I got in the right lane and slowed down. Till he pulled up, he was grinning, and had thumbs up. So we both hit it and I just walked away. He had dual exhaust I don’t know what else. But I was happy with being able to pull that much at that high of a speed. Before the supercharger, my suburban really wouldn’t run much over 80. If it did it took forever. In this race I went from 70 to who knows in a few seconds.
Oh and one more thing, my speed-o goes to 100 but my truck never stops pulling, and the rpms just keep climbing. But my blazer hits a speed limiter at 97. It must have been in the flash to take away any speed limiter. Or suburbans don’t have them because they won’t go that fast stock.

was it the mercury maurader? good kill btw :hshake:

that would be a mercury maruader, aka crown vic with a little different body styling dual exhaust and a n/a cobra motor...good kill

Marauders aren't that quick...they look mean, but they are still heavy 4-door cars... 4.6L with 302 hp? And wayyy less to the ground because of their horrible driveline? Come on...no wonder why you pulled 4-5 lengths on him... Your Burban is sweet---stock-looking, but not stock moving... If I saw you pull 5 lengths on me, I'd give you a thumbs up too!
