have you checked the fuses and fluid level? 65e would be what I'd try to get if you replace it, unless you're planning on some severe duty usage in the future.

If you can't find a salvaged trans (4L65e or 80e), then clutch replacement is not as bad to get you by until you get what you're looking to upgrade to. i took the tranny out do you guys no how much it is to get it rebuilt? any price ranges?
I've been quoted $700-$750 for a factory stock rebuild, carry-out only.
That's cheap. Around here, expect $1000 - $1200.
I thought so, also. It was at a Cottmans. They're a national chain.
