Just curious. I'm swapping a '99 LQ4 into my '73 blazer and I've got the full harness/PCM, but I'm sure there are going to be a few bugs here and there. Should I subscribe to this Alldata service?
Thanks!

i heard mitchell makes a program that is wicked compared to alldata. :twocents:
I went ahead and bit the bullet on the Alldata. I'm regretting it. Unless I'm missing something the wiring diagrams are CRAP or nonexistent. :(
well from what i heard mitchell costs about $100 and i know it has good wiring diagrams cuz ive used them to fix my wiring issues. it helped me fix my 80e harness 60e trans problem. :thumb:
I've heard nothing but good about alldata.com. Details, please. :thumb:
I want to add a diagnostic port harness to my engine/pcm harness and so I was hoping to find an electrical diagram of that harness. All of the searches that I've done lead me to the same two diagrams which aren't what I'm looking for. So far there aren't any diagrams of what I've needed, only a few. :(
They bolth suck... We used Alldata at work for five years and switched to mitchell. Alldata is easy to navigate, has great flow charts for drivabilty, But its missing ALOT of stuff and there wiring daigs suck ass! Mitchell on the other had is hard to navigate, piss poor flow charts, missing alot of info But there wiring daigs tech resourses kick ass.
I would say alldata for easy of use. If you find alldata confusing dont even think about mitchell
Are you referring to this?

I've found EVERYTHING I needed from Alldata. As long as you have the right harness to splice into, you're good. Give a little more details on what you're planning to do, what you're planning on using, and how you plan on implementing what you have. As far as diagrams go, there are diagrams that exist, but not so easy to find 'em. I find that the connector views & descriptions helped were diagrams didn't.
Thank you. That looks like it'll help. I still can't find many good wiring diagrams on there though. Wouldn't a Haynes or Chilton manual have wiring diagrams?
