ultrabluea9x, I have a 4/5 drop on my truck using BellTech 2" drop spindles and 2" lowering springs in the front with shackles, hangers and the overload pulled to achieve the 5" drop. If you want to go lower than 5" you'll have to go with the flip kit. By flipping the rear you also be able to use a universal traction bar set if you need them. I had to order a set of Caltracs for mine. The only problem with the drop spindles is the diameter and width of the front wheel. If you decide to go with a 9" or wider front rim it will hit the upper and lower control arms. An 18" or larger wheel is ideal for drop spindles without having to mod anything. JFYI.
