The amperage of the alternator is stamped into the housing if it's a genuine GM alternator.

You have the 105A in your truck.

Take your belt to the store match it up and ask what alternator that belt is for, givng you your answer and drive home with the right belt. Put your old belt it the new belt sleeve write down what amp alternator you have on it and throw it behind the seat for an emergency. problem solved.
thanks for the help, i got it changed and put a gatorback on it but that wasnt the problem it was the 8 year old ac belt chirping so i replaced that too and the engine bay is now noise free, thanks again
