Hey guys I just got done installing a trailblazer tc and superior shift kit and billet servo's.....but anyways i have a autometer cobalt tranny gauge and i have the sending unit in the test port on the side of the tranny..its not very accurate on reading temps...im wondering were else i could put it to be more accurate..ive been told a pan but i want to keep my stock one and its impossible to weld a bung on that thin thing....Any suggestions?

Instead of welding the fitting on, epoxy it on; did that for my VDO oil temp sending unit in the side of my Firebird oil pan 15 years ago and still no leaks :thumb: Just make sure the surfaces are chemically clean, wipe first with paper towells and acetone (or similar).
