Hey guys figured I would post and show the difference in times between the 4.8 I had in the truck and the L33 5.3. When I swapped the motors I added elec fans, crank pulley, and a cheap home fab intake. A shift kit and some servos were installed in the tranny, but I dont know if that makes any difference in ET. So anyways stock the truck ran
1/8 ET 10.6x
1/8 MPH 69
After the swap (with the fans, pulley, and home made intake) truck ran
1/8 ET 9.45
1/8 MPH 75.25
The truck is still running on the 4.8 tune in the computer so I'll have that re-tuned once the cam and headers come in, which should be in a month or less. There is plenty left in this truck!! Oh yeah this is a regular cab 4x4 body.
