just put new pads and calipers on the truck today the passenger side was not reliving pressure and the truck would damn near not move. i thought naturally with it sittin for a few years they were seized, so i pulled the calipers apart and they were quite nasy on the inside of the piston bore so i replaced them went around the block and the pas. side still wont relive pressure. its draggin real bad, i made sure i lubed up all the contact points and sliders real good. could it be the master cylinder thats causing this, its pretty bad at 35 if you let go of the wheel u will go ditch cleaning. any help would be great!

When its locked/draging, Jack that wheel and open the bleeder on the caliper. If it free spins replace the hose, If not you have may have goten a bad caliper, But sounds like the hose to me.

make sure that the master cylinder isnt full to the top with fluid. the brake fluid needs room to expand due to the heat. thats why the full mark is like a inch lower than the top, ive done that same thing, push back the pistons , install new pads, and the dam thing locks up like 2 miles down the road.

also make sure the pads slide on the calipers, just because they fit in the calipers doesnt mean they move on the stainless slides. the last set i did i had to file fit the pads to the caliper brackets. thats just food for thought

well i dont think its the caliper as it did it before and afterthe new one was installed, the pads seemed to move pretty freely but i may pullem back out and file the caliper down a bit, i did the bleed trick yestreday and yes the wheel would spin freely afterwards so i guess im off to replace the rubber lines, hope this cures it as i have had this truck for 2 weeks now and cant drive it!

Yep that should be it. Every chevy I have owned ,the front brake lines would collapse from dry rott. Its actually the inner liner that peels away and collapses.
