i have a 4.8 in my truck and fixin to buy a 5.3 and put a cam in it what kind of hp numbers do u think it will produce? and what numbers would a 6.0 with cam produce? just tryin to decide what to do....

350+ to the wheels? Maybe, depending on the cam you pick. I'm no expert. Ask SCIV or Jethro.
1982 Silverado - just an old truck motor I had sitting around the house.
I put 340 to the wheels with a TR224 & LQ9. I am not sure if Jethro did a dyno with his new cam or not.

LQ9 is the High Output 6.0 engine, put in the SS, Escalade, Denali, VHO and the MAXX.
And no I have not had it on the dyno since the cam install
