i have been looking at buying the pulleys from allen once they come back in stock. i had a few questions though before i buy them.

- what size would i see the most benefit from?
- where exactly would i see the benefit at getting new pulleys? top end or bottom end?
- would it be a good investment to buy the pulleys now so that i would be able to use them on the motor swap i plan on doing in the future?
- would the engine run hotter say for instance in traffic with a different size pulley on there?

any input would help.

thanks,
david

I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong) his pulleys are for Radix...they're not underdrive pulleys if that's what you're thinking.

I'm thinking that your thinking is the correct line of thinking.

i knew i was reading it wrong. i saw somewhere on there that it mentioned "radix" but being myself, i blew off the notion that it was for FI applications. oh well thanks for clarifying that up for me guys!

but i guess my questions still apply. is it a good investment to buy a set of pulleys know because i will be able to use them on a future motor swap? etc.

They will help, but I think your money would be better spent elsewhere, even if it meant saving a little more. Gotta get a cam and torque converter in that thing.

id like to see if allen would make everyone some pulleys on here like billets all the way around crank pulley, ac comp pulley ETC. i think itd make the engine look so clean, but i can imagine the cost. ud need efans to be able to see most of them, but i plan on efans anyway.

Save your money Ducky. Put it towards something useful, like a turbo.

You and James both. I want a beastly v8 sitting in front of me, with eventually a turbo. not a whiny v6 that would barely crank out 300 hp with cam/stall/turbo/tune.
