Cam for a 4.3L

Anybody have any recommendations on a cam for a 4.3L / manual Sonoma ext. cab? This truck is completely stock, except for the Nelson Tuning.

Nothing too radical, just a nice sound and streetable,

There only seems to be two ways to have your 4.3L. Dog slow stock or $5g+ built rocket. It is a pain in the a$$ to find parts to build something in the middle. Have you checked these out yet?

How much gain is expected from that street cam listed on that site? And will it be a nice lopey idle? Does a cam give the v6 more v8 sound?
