    Ok guys,
I finally got the 2/4 drop+sways and I'm loving it.
When I first got into it, it felt like it was lower than a 2/4 drop, so I was scared I would scrape everything. I guess my expectations were high because I don't scrape anything...but I do have to go slooooow.

I already bottomed out when I went over a speed bump in the mall parking lot too fast. I slammed the frame...my girlfriend laughed...not because of the fact that I bottomed out, but because she said it was as if I had hurt myself...my face cringed up and it was as if I was really hurt...heh...well...yea...

All I can say is it handles 100x better than stock. As I said, on the streets it handles very well, and on the freeway you can feel EVERYTHING. It's not as bad as I expected though, I thought it would be worse....but I didn't get this kit for comfort...

I already took it to a few places where there's canyons and nice windy roads...
It feels AWESOME when it dips into the curves...sorry I can't compare just the 2/4 drop to the 2/4 drop with the sways, but I can tell you that body roll/lean is 99% eliminated!!!

I will get some vids of it taking corners, etc. and put them up for you guys...
I have yet to go down Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood....there are some loooong ass bends that I'm dying to hit at 90MPH.
All in all, it kicks ass
It doesn't handle like a Vette of course, but I mean, it's a truck. For what it is...it handles awesome now.

Oh yea, this is what my truck looks like now

Your truck looks badass man! Cooler than I thought it would turn out.

How are your IAS shocks? I want some for my F-150 along with a 1" front drop and 2" rear drop. Maybe it will handle a bit then on the Twin I-Beams! hahaha

BTW...get the fogs to work yet?

IAS shocks are nice and firm.
    Like I said, when I take a turn...the front doesn't dip down, it's awesome...
Although when I hit bumps, the front end will bounce up, but not down...
Mac, can you describe that better? We were talkin about it when we went for a ride...

BTW, no...the fog lights aren't operational yet...soon enough though

Its nothing bad. Just seems like personal preferance to me.

The IAS shocks are somewhere between a performace shock and a comfy shock... so there has to be some middle ground there...

I think that if you really wanted all that travel gone you would want a more race inspired shock... but I think it rides great and we are just nit picking at little shit cause overall it rocks

I know what you are talking about by handling now, must be a ton better now.

Yeah that fog light harness was cheap enough jeez!

Man that looks good I think the 2/4 on the 1/2 tons is the perfect stance. And you don't need to worry about speed bumps and potholes like a 4/6. I have been looking at the 3/5 drop for the 1500HD but need to find someone in the Austin area that does this stuff. I did a 2/4 drop on my '98 and lets just say I think I'll let someone else do the next one, it beat me up...Those cold rivits don't want to come out of there

Glad you like it. I love the look of the trucks with the drop. I know what you mean about the corner and ride. Much better.

    sweet ride chingon!

i was wondering to you have to replace the bump stops? is there any thing else that the hotchkis drop needs besides the coil & leaf springs and shocks?
