well to everyone who was wondering, it CAN be done!
I my mezeire water pump installed onto my truck today, works perfect.

I took pics and will make a web page of details on the install...

    requires:
slightly grinding on the rear of the tensioner, (some unneeded material to the casting)

using an f body idler pulley (the pulley just to the left of the alternator) the f body pulley is smaller in diameter and gives the needed room to avoid the belt rubing the upper radiator hose inlet.

cutting about 7" off of the upper hose at the wp end, and 2" at the radiator.

Grinding SLIGHTLY on the big bracketry holding the power steering pump etc. there is just a round part of the casting that must be ground flat by removing about 1/8" material.

it wasn't that bad of an install. thank god I had some trans am parts lying around (pulley)

I haven't gotten to drive the truck yet because I have to finish wiring my VSC for my LS1 fans. I will post more results tomorrow.

    good job,

Well how's the power gains now? This is a pretty badass mod for sure.

nice, i like it, plus me having the truck front accessories, now i know it'll work, i'd like to make up for the ac being installed, maybe it will make the engine feel like it spins more freely, like it did before the ac.

    nice job on that,
