cam suggestions

hey guys i have a 99 NBS silverado ext cab stepside...
im swapping in a LS1 and want to swap the cam for a decent lopey idle and im sure i will have to swap the TC as well...

any suggestions on a cam with a nice lope but not too drastic driveability loss???

and TC suggestions with the cam choices

I like my TR220 and TB stall. It's actually a little small for the motor but works out great. I think you'll love a TR224 but the TB stall might be a little low for this cam though.

yeah...i've been researching cams for a while...really like the TR224 with the 112LSA...

what valve springs would i need for this cam and what stall to make it all come together??? this is the final piece to my puzzle once i get the LS1 come monday night....

CC 918 springs should work fine with that cam. I would probably go with something around 3K stall as well. Do you plan on doing any towing? because I wouldn't go that high of a stall if you do.

just towing my jetski or a small motorcycle trailer...nothing major like a camper or whatnot....

so the TR224...3,000-3,200 stall....Comp Cams 918 springs...

thanks guys...what kind of numbers do u think i will putting down after i swap in the LS1 with the TR224 and i have K&N 77 Series intake and Borla Exhaust..will also get NELSON TUNE...???
