Anyone have experience with this flush solvent for engine or transmission?

Three months ago I bought this 99 Silverado 5.3 L60 with 88,000 miles. Great shape and it runs great also. No smoke or drips. Transmission shifts fine although I do not like the part throttle 2 gear drops.

No history since I bought it from a wholesale dealer I know.

Now have 3000 miles on fresh Castrol 5W30 and filter. Oil is still pretty clean. Either the motor is clean or the oil is not picking up usual deposits.

Transmission fluid and filter I have not done yet but the fluid is bright red, although someone could have changed it recently.

Anyway, I was thinking about using Auto-RX or something like it before switching to synthetic for engine and transmission.

Given the situation, I could be wasting my time and money.

I've never heard anything bad about this product but as I've always said...

nothing but oil goes in my crankcase.

Also, 60Es don't like syn oil. Makes them slip for whatever reason. Stick with cheapo DexIII and change it often. In the crankcase just change it and be on your way.
