4l60e not right after Transgo shift kit

This was the first time installing a shift kit, read the instructions over and over, followed them to the letter, read many threads on the install, even watched the cheezy video on line.

I put in all the parts everyone reccommended on this site, Transgo hd2 kit, Sonnax vette servo (no shims, yet) pinless accumulators, sonnax shift valves, extra capacity trans pan.

Trans has a delay going into reverse, never had that before. Trans short shifts from 1-2 and has a slight "bump" going into 3rd, shifts are not firm like i was expecting. Letting the truck cool down and will put a shim in the servo assembly to see if that firms up.

Pulled the pan back down and took out the "pinless" 1-2 accumulator piston out and replaced with the stock piston along with 2 shims and the Transgo springs. Want to pull the corvette servo assy out and put a shim in there, but did not feel like pulling the header out of the way just yet, maybe last resort. Shifts much better, barks the tires now at part throttle. Still have a delay in reverse. I did grind down the manual valve slightly according to the instructions for faster reverse, but it had the opposite effect, will contact transgo tomorrow to see what they think or just have them send me a new one. Also the parts store trans filter doesnt fit well to my liking, kinda flops around in there, maybe losing pressure there too? Will get a oem style filter to see if that helps.
