    stall help

ok so i got a fully built trans and a 2400 rpm circle d stall and so far its awesome. but i have a q, ive heard of ppl locking and unlocking stalls or something along those lines. if im sitting at a dead stop and hold the brake should the truck be able to rev to 2400 rpm without the tires lighting up? or say from a stoplight if i floor it should it go to 2400 and then go? right now all it does is rev to about 1300 and then go. any help guys?
Today 03:25 am 6 stringer o thats a good point, its ok ill just add a blinker fluid cooler
Today 03:24 AMtruckinL33 that's not a good place for it, you can overheat your blinker fluid with the capacitor
Today 03:23 AMtruckinL33 i need them for when i go back to 1985
Today 03:23 AM6stringer i mounted my flux capacitor next to my blinker fluid resevoir
Today 03:22 AMtruckinL33 me too, right next to my flux compasator!
Today 03:22 AM6stringer hey gear oil needs to be cooled, i have front and rear diff coolers

depends on how much power you're pushing

    normal driving should seem stock.

brake torque/flooring it, i'd expect atleast 1600-1800 before vehicle starts creeping, 2400 is when it hits full
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

Circle-d converters are really tight, which is good for trucks

when you put it in gear it should roll on its own idle power without giving it gas, unless its an ungodly huge stall, ( i run a 44-4600 )

so how high does it brake stall to? i would think just below 2k on the foot brake

from a dead stop and a punch it should flash to some where around 2800

Sounds to me that with your setup if you want to be able to break torque your truck to 2500 RPM, you're gonna need something like a 3500 stall converter. You got a tight one, and N2O can fix that in a hurry. She'll get loose after a few trips to the track, or on the street with a 150 shot. If you can stall it to 1300 RPM, I would hold it at 1000 at the track. You're gonna wanna slap that converter for your best 60'.
GET OUT OF HERE WITH THAT RICER MATH!

yea that's where i've been messing up at track... it's gonna flash higher than you can brake it. Some people say different

I can only stall my 2600 up to about 2000 before the tires start spinning, even with full brakes.

I can also start rolling forward if im on level ground and dont apply the brake...
