    I was just wondering. Just trying to see how reliable a truck would be if it had a ls1 swaped in and the stock tranny (99+) .

    don't even get me started, lol

    finally, mine is holding up fine, after i had a good trans guy build it for me. it's got hardened goodies/shift kit/server/strong bands/good clutches/etc..

    a stock one may hold up for about a year with aggressive driving, it all depends on the driving habits. in my case just finding someone worth a shit to build it.

    Im not sure if the 6.0 Caddy EXt has a 4L60E or the 4L80E, but we have went through 2 in less than a year. 1 went out pulling the boat and the other went out while off looking for a hunting spot.

    Still on the same one since pullin it out of the lot. Been drivin chill since the factory warranty expired at 36k . 45k and prayin....
