    newb needs help, please!

    My '06 Sierra was purchased with 47,000 miles on it. So at 52,000 miles, I changed the oil, and about 5 miles later it started telling me to change the oil. This morning, the alignment guy says I just need to reset it, but didn't say how. Anyone? TIA.

    turn the ignition on and press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 sec of turning the ignition on
