    and I just found out today that the '10 trucks will have vvt on the 4.8s and 5.3s too

    I have been searching and cant find anything that says any 5.3 has vvt except for the LC9 which GG mentioned. On other forums ppl say they dont as well.

    Okay, I THOUGHT my 5.3 had it. I'm wrong. Normally, Nathan is right. I did have DOD though. I guess I misread, because I can only find 5.3's with VVT in 2010.

    There are simply too many weird things on the moderns ones....VVT, DOD, E85....

    never had UD pullies but wonder the true gain of them, considering they cost about 200-250.

    200-250 also gets you an intake/exhaust/handheld programmer/etc


    none of which yield same results. Overtime they more then pay for themselves in gas mileage savings, and everyone enjoys going a little faster.
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum
