    What about this setup?

Ok many helped me with the swap last year and the swap has been great. Now 15k miles later its time for some upgrades. Its a 96 with 03 5.3/auto. This is my daily driver and want to retain descent gas mileage and reliabilty.
I've contacted Thunder Racing and they recommend a cam 215/223 on a 112 LSA. Along with this I would add long tube headers and a yank 2600 stall. From searches people seem to have good luck with thunder racing and yank convertors. Anyone with anyother suggestions or similar setup have any pro's and con's?

Yes, I remember an issue with open circuit voltage. Glad it's still running after all the after hours schematic searching by someone who only verbatim searches bulletins () so I'll let someone else make performance suggestions as to not anger the tranny god(s).

Combo sounds good. Shop around check with Nelson performance too. They can spec you a cam and i would look at the other site supporter Schoenfeld headers. They look real good for the money. You could also save a little cash by going with a circle-d restalled TB converter. It will putt you right where you want to be.
