    pushrod length ?

What length of pushrod is required when using LS6 (243) head, they are from a 2007 Corvette.I will be using them on a LS1 engine, with a cam change (LUNATI ). Will they be shorter than the stock pushrod? (7.400") because of the longer valve stems? Has anybody experienced this before, iam just wondering what to expect? Thanks

Assuming that the heads haven't been milled and the head gasket thickness won't change, it boils down to the base circle diameter of the Lunati cam lobes. That diameter is primarily determined by the lift of the lobes. Higher lifts require smaller diameters so the cam fits through the cam journals. If you can ferret that info from Lunati, we can give you a more accurate response than 'it should be OK.' Which cam are you going to use?

I want to use Lunati's 60510, both intake and exhaust lobes are 0.513 lift . Dual pattern duration split of 212/218 degrees measured @0.050,and lobe seperation angle of 113 degrees. I will not be milling the heads, and will use GM head gaskets.

That Lunati cam probably has a base circle diameter similar to the 2001 LS6 cam (19.3 mm), which is 0.4 mm less than a stock LS1 cam. The 0.6 mm longer valves in your heads will compensate for 0.35 mm less base circle diameter. You should be good to go. However, I would still send Lunati an email to confirm this.
