    4l60e vs. 4l80e

What is the rwhp difference between the two?

Hard to say without side by side dyno runs but there is a difference as I'm sure you know. Comparing my 2500HD dyno numbers to a similarly equipped 1/2 ton or Fbody is rather depressing. Don't have proof but its got to be a good 10-15% in additional driveline loss factoring in the 80e, 14 bolt and transfer case (not sure if your 4x4 or not).

Lets say that you had a 4x4 1/2 ton truck with a 4l60e trans, then did a 4l80e swap what would be the loss in rwhp. I am sure someone has dynoed there truck with this setup.

Some have claimed as much as 30-40 rwhp but it also can withstand 200-300 hp more than a built 60e.
