    Head Cam Combo

After doing a cam install on a buddies truck this weekend with Cody (1Slow01z71) and Jason (Ghost04) Me and Cody talked for a while. The swap went flawless. We put a 224/224 .581 .581 112lsa in an Lq9. The truck that we put the motor in about 4 weeks ago when Greg came down. The truck sounds awesome, nice lope. We also put installed the Pacesetters and ORY.

    Anyways...

Me and cody talked alot and I want more power. What do yall think of a setup that consist of something like this

    Sell my 216/220 .586 .586 114+2

Get something in the area of 226/230 not sure the lift on a 112
Get some nice heads from Richard (WCCH)
Get a 3600 stall in stead of my 3200 stall.

That should get me 12s n/a right?

Im running consistent 13.4s and 13.5s right now.

Trickflow heads.... Man that made me pucker just typing that word but they would be nice if you could swing it. I like the sound of your plan. Then add a 150 shot.

I'm going to have to set some money aside each paycheck. But I want to do this. 12s n/a would be awesome. I'll look at comps site and see if they offer a came similar to what Im wanting. What could I sell my current cam for? $250? Then I'll need a tranny almost for sure.

That's why this baller on a budget has L92 heads... let's see $1500 vs. $3500? I was just trying to get a laugh out of him. It's good to see Daniel wanting to mod his truck again.

    Ha blaaer on a budget!

Yeah I think I've got the bug again. After doing all this work on my buddies truck and hearing the cam he has it sounds awesome, not to mention I can't have one of my closest friends have a faster truck than me! Everyone knows how that goes.
