    servo replacement instructions

It seems like I saw a link in a thread somewhere with a step by step on how to replace the stock servo with a 'Vette servo on the 4l60e's. I've looked for it for over a half an hour and can't find it. Does anybody know where the link is?

    Thanks.

Did it come with everything you needed, all the gaskets etc. or did you need to pick up anything else?

Did anybody follow the link in the first reply? The author says you don't need a shift kit in these trannys because he says you can all the improvement you need be replacing the servo's, plural. I'm still going to put a lower grade shift kit in mine. I don't need the performance but going up a mild to moderate grade a few weeks ago it kept wanting to shift back and forth. Got things a little hotter than I like. I've got a cooler coming but I want to make those shifts a little quicker and tighter too.

Yeah, the link showed above does show a decently detailed way to install one. they are actually pretty easy. The main thing to do is to make sure you know what order you removed each section and where the snap rings and spring goes...
