I'm taking the truck in next week to get the shift kit and converter put in, now my question is should i use the corvette servo that i have now or use the KDS? Is this KDS servo worth the 150 dollars or should i just use this corvette servo that i got for free? Thanks.

Oh man, the billet servos are SWEET. They really make a drastic difference in the shift speeds. Cleaner and such. I'd do them again in a heartbeat.

Chingon has them, 01 Thunder does, I think 02 Denali may too.

Allen thought they were pretty funny in my truck

I have a vette servo in with my Transgo. With one washer in the accumulator it bangs second pretty hard. It also lights up the tires on the 1-2 at wot but the pavement has been pretty cold lately.

hahahha, i can't resist and they all have broken trannys as we type. lol.

just kidding, i know it's not the billet servo, those guys just demand more from their trucks than our weak 4l60e's can handle, some break some don't.

A shift kit and a vette servo is usually more than anybody will want. I know you like your shifts hard, so mabye the billet servo will be just fine. You can simply put another washer in the accumalator setup and get some hard ass 1-2 shifts.

let us know what you decide.

02 Broke the output shaft! 01Thunda had poor workmanship, and Chingy just has the problem due to massive stall. The comp throws the SES light as it thinks it's slippin badly. W/ EDIT that should be alleviated. So not as bad as we thought!

    I like my billets tho'!

    Thanks guys!!!
I decided to go with the billet servos, i got a good deal from CHEVYMAN, he sold his truck and didnt need them so he hooked up a good deal. so I couldnt pass it up. Now if anybody needs a "SK" series shift kit made by Transgo and a corvette servo, I'm selling them both for 50 bucks. Thanks everybody for the input.

I think so. I couldn't get them back in...the 'Vette servo is two piece so it's easier.

I have the Vette Servo. It hits pretty hard. The AWD will slide on wet pavement in the 1-2 punch. Pretty cool. Feels weird, though.
