One of the mags I get did a good comparison on two NA engines, 300hp vs 500hp.
    Add 14psi to them.
What I'm getting at is, build a strong NA engine and boost it, you'll have more power in the end.

    300hp + 80% = 540hp vs 300hp
    500hp + 80% = 900hp vs 500hp
Now it's no longer a 200hp difference like it originally was.
    Now it's 360hp difference.

See how it works? Same pressure, however, but different engines.
Pretty big jump when you look at it that way.
Mic's truck is probably making some good power anyway NA, add boost, it's gonna make some good power in the end.

I didn't want to post the details about the 408 I built for a customer and hear all the nay sayers slam it.
But just a quick summary, 821hp from 13psi. Why? The 408 had 10.6 compression. I didn't need to build it with 8.5cr and throw 20psi to it, customer wanted 700hp to the wheels, he got more though.
So, set your goal and build the engine strong, then boost it.
That engine was about 940hp at the crank with stock heads, intake and throttle body.

and same cubic inches and same cam.
Yeah I knew that...was just thinking he had a 6.0l similar to mine - forgot about all his extras.

I forget Mic has the stage 2 heads, Vic Jr., and 90mm tb, and bigger cam. Makes sense now.
