OK I have a couple of radix questions for yu guys. My buddy is running a radix with 8 to 1 forged pistons lunati rods, 6.0 block and patriot stage 2 heads. Here are my questions.

    1. What is the most boost any of you guys have ran on a radix?

    2. He wants to crank the boost to atleast 16lbs. I know at 13lbs the belts on whipples slip and you have to go with a cog set up.

    3. Does radix make a cog set up and whats the highest rpm you can spin a radix at magnacharger says 16k???

That's sounds impressive ... what kind of times does he run?

I think by the time you add that much boost, you will more than likely be overspinning the blower.

Dont knwo yet.... magnison said that they have spun them to 22k but they said that there blower is more the traditonal roots style and that whipples are more for higher rpm. so we might put a whipple compressor on toip of a radix manifold cause i knwo they make a cog set up. the goal is 20lbs so well see

DAMN! There is a guy over on ls1tech that is doing some stuff to his RADIX. I think he is looking at swapping compressors too. You might go over there and give him a shout.

To the best of my knowledge Whitt1 would be the one to ask. He was mentioning that Magnacharger was coming out with a larger compressor. I think the most anyone has gotten was 10#.

That's who I was talking about that is replacing the RADIX piece with something from WHipple.

Yea were going to have to get real custom. See if it holds 20lbs or if we can even get it up there.
