hey guys I am a newby to this site, and I think its the best one Ive seen so far.....anyway I have a 2000 gmc 5.3 EXTSS and had the trans built this week and of course it shifts so hard the tourque management is killing me,but that can be cured my problem is about 3 weeks ago when it shifts under hard acceleration you can hear a popping sound coming from my exhaust.I know for a fact its not hitting the rev limiter because its shifting at 5500 from first and 5500 from second I removed my HPP 3 to no avail.I tried new plugs, new TP sensor. No luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated,And can someone help me get in touch with farmtruc....I hear he is the MAN Im in Fort Worth and need some tuning done

Farmtruc pretty much lives on here, just send him a pm and he should respond to ya. If you have more that one mode of transportation you can send your pcm to him and he should be able to program it for ya.

Hey 00GMCSLT, you rang?

So what's up? I can help you out, I can retune your current pcm or send you another one. Since you're not too far away, get some guys together and I may drive up there to tune you guys. Just a thought.

If you want TM removed, I can get rid of every last bit, just ask 02denali

I look forward to meeting you and your truck,

allen

TM can lick Deez Nutz. I can't believe how much better my truck is after the tune. More power +2mpg city; +3mpg hwy.

Mine is totally deleted w/ stock 4L60E...well I do have a fully installed TransGo shift kit and billet apply servos.

Gotta be TM. If you had the tranny built than the pop is because the TM is pulling so much timing. Get Allen to hook you up and you won't be able to wipe the smile from your face!
