Are you sure? I thought someone(think it was Allen) said that when load a custom tune via LS1Edit, it looks (to anyone...dealer, etc.) like it's the tune that came from the factory...granted it's a little "tweaked out"
I bet when the dealership mechanics see it they will be like...what the ****?

I am sure Allen will post up, but just using the techII will not effect the tune at all. Only if they reflash it for some reason. And they will only do that if you take it in for pcm issues.
I don't think the dealerships have the capability to see individual items like efans, tqmgt etc.. They just dump the entire tune during a reflash etc. They can also download certain updates as well.
Don't worry about it. Even if they reflash it for some reason, Allen can reload it as I am sure he has your file saved.

The dealer can't edit and see all the tables we do with edit, however they can see the results, for example the higher timing, etc.
If they flash your pcm, it will be back to stock, and I'll have to send another one out to you.
You mentioned that you had a tad of KR, did it work it's way out, what rpm, what gear if it's still there.
The tech II is bidirectional, but it's changes are temporary, like RAM in a PC.
They can do all the reading they want and not hurt anything, but if they flash it, you will loose your tuning.
let me know if i can help out,
allen

Good on the 3-4 shift problems, sometimes a tune will fix most non mechanical problems or complaints.
I would try to pinpoint KR, a/f ratio and ltrims still need attention, but not as much as KR on a boosted truck.
If you have KR, don't let them flash your PCM, sometimes there are bulletins or new calibrations that fix KR issues, you have the latest cal. so there's no need for that. So, don't let them tell you that lol,
if you have a low maf circuit, that is almost a maf problem, i would switch it out and see if it goes away, i had one on another car and it turned out it was bad. If you have a buddy that has one, try that.
Thanks on the comments, and don't forget you get free updates or corrections for the life of the truck,
later,
allen
