    keep and eye out for 99+ PCM's for me, post a link or if you know someone with one for sale lemme know. Allen cant tune my 98 PCM, so i need a newer PCM.

    ive seen a few go for $50, and a few go for $100. i dont really know their worth other than those few examples. to answer your question...between $50-$100 i guess.

    i thought the 98 comps were prefered for swap? Crap...tack on another thing to the list.

    You don't want a 98 pcm unless you have to use a painless wiring brand engine wiring kit. For some reason they don't do a 99+ wiring harness for an LS1, at least when I was checking.

    whats bad about the 98s??? Ive got a street and perf wiring harness and I could have sworn that they said in their video that you generally want the 98s over the 99+ because they are easier to tune. I must have heard it wrong...have to watch that damn thing again

    harder to find. One year specific. Slower processor. 2002s require no EGR de-tuning since they didn't have EGR on the cars that year.

    painless is 98-99 LS1. i never got a pcm. i do however need a 98 PCM for a core at the moment. nothing wrong with 98's at all, i dont know why i made this post.
