I see lots of 5.3's on ebay...they may be out of state but the pricing is cheap on them!
A 4 bolt LT1 only came in Corvette's, expect a pretty penny to be paid for them

You guys are out in Cali, there has to be tons of cool stuff out there. Heck, I thought of renting a 6.0 HO Escalade and stealing the motor and replacing it with my 5.3! LOL.

I dunno, I keep trying to brainwash a buddy of mine to swap me his LS1 from his Z28 into my truck for my 5.3 just before he sells it.
Heck, I'm sure I could have a motor swap done within a day if I had a helper pal and a cherry picker.
Ah well, if I ever do this I'd love to tell everyone but I wouldn't...but it is a great idea as they'd never know what happened...

Did you put the LS1 Z-28 motor in your truck? ARound how much $ was the total swap? How much for the 5.3?
