98 C1500 has a different transmission than the 99 doesn't it? the bolt pattern, torque converter, bell housing, input drum and pump stator are different on the 5.7L trucks than the 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0L engines, correct? I know you cannot put a 98 4L60E in an LS1 without custom parts to make it work. Isn't the bolt pattern on the 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0L engines the same as the LS1/LS6 block? I know they are basically the same engine only in cast iron instead of aluminum.

I have a 4l60e out of my 2002 gmc sierra. It needs to be rebuilt because it started slipping but it has a transgo shift kit and corvette servo in it. If you want it you can have it with the torque convertor for $300
