I've got a 2000 short bed regular cab with the 5.3. Plan on doing plenty to it. bought it from a GM employee who took EXTREMELY good care of it. Inside and out looks new. has about 75000 miles on it. Probably doing a 6.0 conversion down the road..not sure what i want to do with it yet. its got 22's on it. Bought it with 20's and I'm probably going back to 20s. Big wheels are too damn heavy

I would get a Nelson tune if you do not have one yet. You will not regret it. With wheels that tall I would look at getting some gears and a good posi. I have 20s went to 4.10s and love them. Cruise on the highway around 2-21k around 70. In town I get around 16 mpg depending how heavy my right foot is. Exhaust, intake, upgrade tranny, the list is endless man. It is all a matter of how deep your pockets are LOL Speed costs money how fast do you want to go.
