New Guy Introduction

Getting closer to making my dream of swapping an LS with a T56 into my 91 C1500. The stock 4.3L V6 and 5 speed just isn't cutting it any longer, not bad for the daily drive to and from work but when I have to tow my trailer it just doesn't have the balls to get it done. I've been reading enough that I think it's about time to ask some questions so I finally registered. Here's a pic of the truck as it sits.



Thanks for all the info I've already pulled off the site and look forward to hopefully contributing when I get the swap done.

Welcome, nice truck. What size engine are you going with, 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, 6.0, or 6.2? I think the 5.3 would be a really good choice for you.

I'm thinking 6.0. If I'm going through the trouble I'm gonna go big.
