    Newb from Idaho

Hi all, name's Chris, been lurking a couple months gathering info, but just joined to look at some pics, I should be picking up a 6.0/4L80E/manual t-case setup next weekend to put in my 1993 K2500 RCLB.

Long story short, I bought the '93 5 years ago as a winter/hunting/hauling/towing rig with a long list of problems which I've slowly been fixing over the years. Last fall my dad finally finished off the transmission while hunting, well I figured I may as well pull and freshen up the engine too, found too much damage overall so decided to swap it all. Good news is that I'm a GM tech turned GM parts guy who has a couple good GM tech buddies interested in similar swaps, the truck is actually sitting at the Chevy dealership for that matter as it's SO much easier to do this type of stuff with a lift I'm quite excited to get started on it.

Beyond the '93 I have a daily driven 2007 Cobalt SS/SC that's all stock, a '69 Chevy C/10 2wd long bed with a healthy 383 stroker in it (among lots of other work) and an '84 Trans Am that I would someday like to also LS swap as I can't seem to keep SBCs in it without them having issues.

Lots of good info on here but I do have a question which I'll post in it's proper location.
    Cheers!

Ya I love my SS/SC, sure is a fun car, wish I had funds to mod it too but other projects are more important. The '69 sucks up most of the project fund that is til the '93 blew up. I'd like to mod the 93's new 6.0 also but for it's intended usage I think it'll be just fine.
