I'm going to be re-gearing my silverado z71, since its 4 wheel drive would I have to buy gears for the front axle .. Or is there a way to by past. And still be able to use 4 wheel drive with 4.56 in the rear and stock gears in the front ?

Pull the front driveshaft. Your good to go.
