Hello everyone... Ive been reading your posts and admiring all your rides for a little bit now and I decded to finally jump in so I can ask a few questions here and there and learn from all the experience that lingers here.

My name is George. I am a mechanic Army and currently stationed at Fort Sill in Oklahoma. I'm originally from Los Angeles. I am 20 years old and bought my very first vehicle about 6 months ago. It is a Black 2003 Silverado Ex Cab with a 5.3... Lawton Oklahoma can be very boring so my pride and joy is my truck. I love American Muscle and in particular Chevy's. Hearing the ruble of the 350 in my dads old chevy truck just makes my skin tingle.

So far ive just added a few minor things to make my truck a little different from the masses. As far a power adders I have installed a 77 Series K&N intake, 30 Series Flowmaster exhaust system, and retuned my computer with a Crane Cams hand held programmer. Other off stock things include 285 60 R16 tires with aluminum rims, some small subs, Silver Star headlights, spray in bedliner, and some other minor things. The biggest thing that slows me down of course is a lack of money but I am scheduled to be in Iraq by October so hopefully when I return I'll be able to dig in a little more. Future plans hopefully will include an STS turbo, Cam, A Nelson tune(referred from good friend Darkness_X2 who just blasted his rearend), a 4L80 tranny and mabey some 3/4 ton drivline parts. I also have future plans for the build up of a Caddilac 472 Engine that I have... well good luck guys with ur trucks and see you all around... glad to be a member...

Darkness_X2 and I are both in the same unit... we work together and spend probably 90% of our conversations talking about various things dealing with our trucks, engines, and so on... Darkness_x2 though loves to ride his truck very hard but I'm a little different... I baby mine and try to keep from doing anything to cause any damage although i do very much enjoy squealing tiress, tire smoke and pretending to be in a Nascar race from time to time. Darkness_X2 and I have both been reprimanded several times for peeling out of the parking lot immediatly after work. We both smiled one day in formation when our platoon sergeant warned the "two soldiers with black chevy trucks that like to play fu*kin Nascar..." Racing around a military instalation may not be the smartest thing to do but ohh well... we always get good laughs out of it. more pics to follow....
