New to the site :) Looking for SoCal LSX specialty swap shop

New to the site, not new to web forums

Title says it all! Looking for a reputable LSX swap shop within 100miles of SmellA.

Looking to swap a 6.0 truck motor into my 99 crew cab 3/4 ton with 4L80E.

I'm reading as fast as I can to get caught up on all the GM terms/numbers.

26 years in the Porsche industry (doing swaps and such) has left me GM illiterate

This is a shop truck we use to pull the race car trailers and such. Looking for something easy hp/tq wise from the 6.0 (400hp/400lb ft of tq)

Using the search.. I'm not finding a good source in SoCal for used engines/ecu/harness?? Any SoCal people have "the place" for used engines? Besides Pick-A-Part?

    Any specific "truck" salvage yards?

We dont have many west coast members here. Your best bet is to find an engine on craigslist or something and doing the swap yourself as it isn't that difficult.

    Also try lkq.

Guessing either a 5.7 or the iron headed 6.0. Depends on OBS or NBS!

3/4 ton had 5.7, old 350 as far as I can remember, old body style, thought 1/2 ton was the only body that changed in 99
