    New here

Hey everybody! joined here hoping to find some good tech on finally souping up my 2002 GMC Sierra Regency Sport Truck. Im looking to swap my 4.8 for a mild LS1 in the very near future while I build up a TVS blown LSX based mill. Im no stranger to modding stuff but I am new to the LS based stuff. I currently also ride a chopped 2006 Evo Sportster I affectionately call the "Ghetto Blaster". Im my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my wife and daughter, and shooting "tangos" on deployments to third world shitholes. When Im not deployed as a long range recon infantryman I work as a firefighter. Any pointers on the 4.8 to LS1 swap would be great, also looking to drop the truck and fully tweak the suspension so I can corner with the 'vettes while hauling parts!

The 4.8 has racked up 130K and this is my daily driver for at least another year until I get a new jeep and make this a full on project. Looking to get a new engine/trans built and ready then drop it in quickly so I can still have it as a daily driver.
