    whats up yall i just wanted to introduce myself....im 19 and live in south Texas. I just got my new truck yesterday its a 05' Chevy Crewcab dark metallic gray LS with the 5.3 V8 and i have big plans for it (lower the back to level it out, volant intake, msd wires, side exit exhaust for that deep sound etc. etc.). For right now i just want to concentrate on lowering it and installing a billet grille so if you all have any suggestions im all ears and i would really appreaciate help from any of you that have a similiar truck or the 5.3 v8.     Wassup Man.. Welcome to the Forum
    Yeah I've got a 05 Crewcab Black/ Charcoal leather with 5.3 and 3:73, and I put Bel-tech 2in. lowering Shackles and it set the truck perfectly level. IF you want to go lower I would go with a 2/4 drop from Bel-Tech thats what i have on my red truck and I like it to for that mean conservatine low look. And far as grills my buddy just bought one off of ebay brand new billit grill (over lay) still in the box for $45 might save you some money.

Inj., AlkyControl Meth Kit, ASM L/T's, Magnaflow X-pipe, Borla's, FLT Level 5 4L65e, PI 3000 Stall, B&M Tranny Cooler, 3:73's, G-80, E-Fans, 160' Thermo. Custom Built Intake with K&N. WideBand 02 Sensor, DIXIE TUNED.

    Hey Bad_Apple thanx for the info bro I really do appreciate it. Yeah, thats what my cousin did to his sierra he bought some 22's and just got some 2" rear drop shackles and it leveled his out NIIIICEE.....thats where i got the idea from and what i plan on doing. I'm also gonna buy a new muffler for it i want something that gives it a deep but not so muscle car loud sound what do you recomend and for some fast power gainers as well???? laters

    Yeah man I'm 19 as well but far as exaust if you want one with a deep tone i would half to say Magnaflow buddy of mine put it on his 05 stepside and it sounds good when you kick and pretty mellow when you cruising. They sound better than the ol FlowDaddys that everybody in theworld be running on there trucks including myself.

    Welcome aboard, I have a CCSSB too. I've got threads all over the place for mods. Some aren't too cheap though. Best bang for your buck...
